oh us young kids

I’m a bit surprised sometimes at the reaction people have to me just walking in a mall or entering a bar. For instance, I was in a mall at new jersey just picking out some clothes and some girl randomly walks up to me and goes “are you in high school?!” I just stared at her. First off I’m in college…an UPPER CLASSMAN in college so WTF? Second of all…it’s not like I was in the Limited Too looking for a training bra or something…I mean jesus do I really look like I’m 15? And to add to that embarrassment, a few days later while I was entering a bar I proceeded to show the bouncer my driver’s license. While staring at me and my ID for about 5 minutes, he finally says, “Do you have another picture?” Getting double carded was nothing new to me and unfortunately all I had was a credit card so I took that out and showed that it had my name. He just stared at me…and finally goes when did you graduate high school? I stared at him dumbfounded…he really didn’t think I was who I said I was. After answering that question correctly he asked me what’s your zodiac sign? Thanks dude I didn’t realize I signed up for astrology. What the hell is going on these days? Is it the lack of makeup I have on that makes me look younger? I’m pretty sure I drink way too much alcohol and stay up way too late for way too long for me to even begin to look like I’m 15. But then again perhaps I should be flattered? At the rate I’m going, by the time I’m 40 I’ll look 30 or something…so maybe I should just say thanks to all those who still think I’m in high school and move on? Possibly…but I would just like to remind all those eligible bachelors out there…particularly those that have a job and money…that I am COMPLETELY legal so DO NOT WORRY
